Connexus Print The Connexus Printing module allows users to easily print documents without the need of opening files in a viewer or specific application. Once documents are available electronically on your network, users can request documents for printing to support their business needs.
Automated Printing – As print jobs is submitted to Connexus, they are automatically opened by their associated application for printing. The applications then prints it to the appropriate size, scale, and rotation based on the print job information. File type support for over 300 formats – The Connexus printing can be configured for over 300 different file types. Printing methods can consist of using native applications or viewing technologies. Time and Date Stamping – As documents are printed, a time and date comment is placed on the document. This is usually done to support your Quality Assurance requirements such as (ISO, QS, FDA, and FAA) These time and date stamps content could include the user name that requested it, ISO statements (NOT FOR PRODUCTION), and Status / Revision information to maintain the control of printed copy. Native Application Printing – The Connexus Printing can be configured to use the Native Application needed for best quality output. This is most common in CAD applications that need certain pen widths and layers displayed during printing. Current Native Application Support Includes:
Viewer Printing – The Connexus Printing can also be configured to print documents using viewing technologies that support a very large variety of file type support. The viewer technologies support most of the generic file types such as Raster Files ( TIF , CAL , GP4, and JPG). These viewer also support printing for complex CAD files that may include (Pro E, Unigraphics, Inventor, SolidEdge) Current Viewer Printing Support Includes:
